Queries regarding IT_DAEMON_POLICY

This is a discussion on Queries regarding IT_DAEMON_POLICY within the Object forums in Theory and Concepts category; Hi, I am using OrbixSSL 3.3, finding some difficulty to understand IT_DAEMON_POLICY, what does the SECURE_DAEMON policy means. According to my observation secure daemon always force client cuthentication, then how is it diffrent from setting parameter IT_SERVERS_MUST_AUTHENTICATE_CLIENTS = "TRUE";. If I am having a INSECURE_DAEMON policy, then all the client-server communication is going to use TCP/IP protocol with no encryption of communication message? Can someone please help me with these queries. Thanks...

Default Queries regarding IT_DAEMON_POLICY

Hi,

I am using OrbixSSL 3.3, finding some difficulty to understand
IT_DAEMON_POLICY, what does the SECURE_DAEMON policy means. According
to my observation secure daemon always force client cuthentication,
then how is it diffrent from setting parameter
IT_SERVERS_MUST_AUTHENTICATE_CLIENTS = "TRUE";.

If I am having a INSECURE_DAEMON policy, then all the client-server
communication is going to use TCP/IP protocol with no encryption of
communication message?

Can someone please help me with these queries.

Thanks
