Default EliteOpenSource - Start-up

Hi Guys,

I am an entrepreneur out of Columbus, Ohio and I've started a company
called eliteopensourcejobs.com. I'm looking for communities such as
yours to get involved by promoting our technology through their
websites. It's a simple concept: open source online communities paste
a JavaScript snippet onto a web page and jobs will be fed from our
site to theirs. I realize that similar things have been done but
since I myself am an open source guy, I bring the promise to the table
of sharing revenue with the OS communities.

The idea started when I was trying to figure out ways to help the
cakePHP community to raise funding for events and such. I realized
that companies like 37signals, CareerBuilder and Monster were making
money off of recruiters looking to hire open source gurus. It dawned
on me that the OS communities themselves were missing out on their
piece of the pie. So I launched a pilot with Cakephp (cakephp.org/
jobs). In the first month they had raised $1000 with the system. I
am an extremely passionate open source enthusiast and I think that
eliteopensourcejobs.com could be a tool that helps all open source
communities. The great thing is that our technology works on any
website. Anyone that hosts a site about technology or blogs about
technology can help out our cause.

Please let me know if you want to support Open Source even more then
you already do. Let's keep the money in the community and away from
companies like Monster and CareerBuilder. My brand promise is to
share revenue with Open Source communities.

Thank you,

Guy Jacks
