Hi All:

Knowledgeable software engineer with 25+ years of experience in
systems and application development, project management, and business
requirements engineering in a wide variety of business domains.
Detailed understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Expert level skills in establishing the context and groundwork for the
requirements engineering process. Extensive experience in eliciting
requirements, analyzing, modeling, and negotiating requirements,
communicating requirements, agreeing requirements, and evolving
requirements.

Familiar with a large number of static and dynamic modeling techniques
including: Unified Modeling Language (UML), entity relationship
diagrams (ERDs), structured analysis and design technique (SADT),
state transition diagrams, Petri Net Graphs, and spreadsheets.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. (Expert user of MS
PowerPoint and MS Word.) Can create and evolve software requirements
specifications (SRSs) from scratch, using templates, and/or standards
(e.g., IEEE).

Can propose and justify 2 to 3 viable solutions for each problem posed
by a set of agreed upon stake holder requirements. Using an agreed
upon set of quality attributes (e.g., usability, performance,
dependability, security, and safety), can make meaningful, measurable,
and systematic
decisions.

Strong background in testing and usability metrics allows for the
design, evaluation, and execution of test cases, test sets, and test
plans.

Skilled in requirements management under CMMI levels 2 and 3.

Able to work effectively independently, as a leader, or in other roles
of a team. Strong "do whatever it takes" attitude.
