| Does anyone have SIMPLE instructions on how to create a connection string to an Oracle database? Our application already talks to Access and Sql Server but we are being asked to do Oracle as well. Thanks, |

But the selection of Driver/Provider will come down ultimately to the data access library you are planning to use. -ralph |

| Ralph, Thanks for the link! I will take a look there. I realize that the ODBC driver is not optimal however since we support Sql Server and Access it is making life a bit easier for us. Rick |

I only keep harping on this, because you are almost certainly going to experience annoyances with Oracle and ODBC Drivers. Oracle provides a decent OLE DB provider, but the ODBC drivers suck. <g> |
