ODBC datasource selection issue

This is a discussion on ODBC datasource selection issue within the ODBC forums in Framework and Interface Programming category; Hi I'm running on win2k with access97, and am having an issue with datasources. When I run a query for a mailmerge I am presented with an option to select a machine datasource. I can enter details or cancel to overcome this, but would like the process to be fully automated for end user simplicity. This only occurs when logged in as a standard user, when logged in as administrator there are no problems. Because of this I think it could be something to do with rights or permissions?? Any help would be greatly appreciated riffy...
