| Hello, I built a database in Access 2007. The company recently switched from Access 2000. I build a ODBC connection into a view only SQL database (done many times previously in 2000) and built my database. When completed I went over to a co-workers computer to show the new database. When I opened the database on the co-workers computer I got ODBC --connection to 'servername' failed. So I opened up the database (on the co-workers computer) and updated the linked tables. Once I did that it worked really well. So I went back to my machine and when I opened up the database I got the error ODBC --connection to 'servername' failed. Has anyone else seen this issue that it will not connect on multiple computers? Any ideas? -M |

But then one always has to wonder about the provider/driver when ever one 'upgrades'. However, you will be better served to post this question to an MSAccess Developers Newsgroup as it is not a VB issue. -ralph |
