How do I move multiple tagged e-mails from one folder to another folder?

This is a discussion on How do I move multiple tagged e-mails from one folder to another folder? within the Other Technologies forums in category; I tagged multiple e-mails in index/list mode with "t" key. I couldn't find a way to move these tagged e-mails from one folder to another. I tried "s" to save, but that only saved ONE e-mail which is a pain if I have many e-mails to move. I looked at help (?) and Google (Web and newsgroups) and didn't see anything about moving. Did I miss it or is it something special trick? I am using Mutt 1.4.1i (2003-03-19) on my friend's old Fedora server (alpha system). Thank you in advance. -- "It is not enough to be industrious; so ...

That didn't work. I went to help mode (?) in Mutt, then do a search:

Help for index -- (33%)
Search: U s i n g . T a g s

hit enter key and got "Not found." error.

Oops. Try to search for Using.Tags in <f1> (Mutt manual).

Check the manual for full details (probably in /usr/share/doc/mutt), but you
either need to prefix the command with ; (which tells mutt to apply it to
all tagged messages), or have

set auto_tag

in ~/.muttrc (to tell mutt always to operated on all tagged messages).

Thanks. ; is what I was missing.

Default using function keys in Terminal.app (was: How do I move multiple ...)

The F1 macro doesn't work when running mutt in the osx Terminal app,
presumably because the default escape sequence generated by F1 in
Terminal (esc O P) isn't what mutt is expecting. Not that I particulary
want to look at the manual with 'less', but I would like to rebind the
function keys in a way that mutt understands so that I can use them for
my own macros. What does mutt expect the function keys to send?

Actually termcap/terminfo, not Mutt.

OK. So what's the implication and how do I fix my problem? OSX appears
to use terminfo.

$TERM is "xterm-color". The F1 key works in mutt if I change TERM to
vt100, but then colors stop working. I can't find any TERM setting that
supports both colors and function keys in mutt.
