| Hi all, I have recently returned to Pascal and have a previously unheard of problem, (by me anyway) I am running Turbo Pascal 7in XP on one machine but also need to run under vista. The IDE boots up in a small window The program, which uses graphics, starts in full screen, I want it in a small window On closing the app, the IDE is now full screen Any thoughts please Best wishes, Jim |

Thanks Robert, I recognise the term *.pif but have no recollection of what they are, how to create or use one. Can you expand please. I have also started using the Free Pascal Compiler which is OK but seems to struggle ounder Vista on my laptop, any thoughts? Best wishes, Jim |

I guess this will not work as expected, because of graphics mode. Windows' DOS emulation hooks video BIOS interrupt (10h) and looks for certain stuff. Encountering a switch to some graphics mode will (always?) give you full screen. AFAIK it also depends on your graphics card's driver/BIOS. > I have also started using the Free Pascal Compiler which is OK but > seems to struggle ounder Vista on my laptop, any thoughts? "struggle" is a very bad error description. -- Robert Riebisch Bitte NUR in der Newsgroup antworten! Please reply to the Newsgroup ONLY! |
