Hello,

I work with Pegasus 4.12a (upgraded from earlier versions) and got a new
problem:
after every crash, hundreds of mails already deleted month ago reappear
in those folders my incoming mails are filterd to.
I have browsed this newsgroups a little and found the suggestion to
delete all temporary files (*.PM$)in the mailbox-directory.
(<MPG.199060f92f1f3e38989748@news-server.woh.rr.com>)

Done that, created an artificial crash - and indeed my folders didn't
show any recoverd old messages again.

But - after the next unartificial crash one of my folders to which I
have applied a lot of filters for my incoming mail shows about 1000 of
these already deleted and now recovered mails again!
The only difference is that this time, there are no *.PM$ files in my
mailbox-directory any more that I could delete.

So what can I do to delete these old mails once and for all??

Cheers,
Anja
