Making Pegasus the default

  1. Default Making Pegasus the default

Is there a way to get Windows XP to accept Pegasus Mail as the default mail
handler? At the moment it doesn't show up as an option, and I haven't found
a way to get it to do so. I want Pegasus to come up when I click a mail
    link in Netscape.

    Thanks!
    Dave

Setting Pegasus Mail as your default system mailer

Normally when you install Pegasus Mail, the installation process will
inform Windows that Pegasus Mail should be used as your default system
mailer (the mail program that will be invoked whenever you click a
"Mailto" link in a web page). If this setting is lost (perhaps because
another mail program overwrites it) you can always re-establish it by
clicking the System mailer button in the the Default system mail program
    group on this preferences page.

If this works for Netscape I wouldn't know.

I had to correct the default location set by Pegasus install. If I
recall, I discovered the error through a search of the registry.
