UCE PROHIBITED
I am suddenly having a problem sending emails with attachments via
Pegasus. They get bounced with a UCE Prohibited error message.
I say "suddenly" but it dates to a total meltdown of my system and
reinstalltion of just about everything a few weeks ago.
I can send the same email with attachment through the same mail server
by using my ISPs web mail facility. Is there some parameter I should be
setting in Pegasus (V. 4.41).

Your ISP probably needs Pegasus to use SMTP AUTH or another authentication
method (like POP before SMTP) to allow you to send these messages. It might
well even require a different port - on one mailhost I used to use I had to
send out using SMTP AUTH on port 587 instead of port 25.
