Messages wont send! - Pegasus
This is a discussion on Messages wont send! - Pegasus ; Arrgh! My latest troubles after getting DSL and putting up with verizon
yahoo.
I have messages in my queue but when I try to send them they dont go and
I get error messages like this:

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
So far I tried "updating" Pegasus but I already had 4.41. I'm hoping
someone has a good trick or two to make this work.

Maybe this is due to the infamous problem with certain computers with a
built-in network adapter's chipsets - I think the chipset is by nVidia.
You have to disable one of its features in Network Properties. Sorry, I
forget the details, but you can check previous messages in this group
on Google.

I was able to locate that thread to disable the checksum offload on the
nvidia network adapter and my queue is empty!

Yay!
Considering all the stuff I forget, I'm glad that factlette stuck
around long enough to be useful.
