Please post to the community if you don't get a (proper) reply here!
As you've probably already noted this newsgroup has become rather quiet
lately: Apart from not being a fashionable Web 2.0 medium this is probably a
consequence of more and more users switching to the Pegasus Mail / Mercury
community forums for posting (and replying to) questions and issues.
Because of this I recommend you to post your questions to the appropriate
forums as well if you don't get proper replies (or any at all): You'll more
probably get helped by someone including the support team members or even
David Harris himself.

Thanks, but I have a problem with forums: I have to register and
maintain a database with the log-in data.

Did you actually read my post? If you don't get helped here you may not have
a choice other then switching to another email client. I don't like forums
either, but can't help using them neverthelss.

Agree on the phpBB style and wished there was a news client which 'transformed' such a forum as
a news server.
Also it depends on the webmaster for such a forum.
I have seen fora where a threaded view was possible, others didn't implement this facility.

FWIW, about half a year ago i proposed that functionality to Agent for
V5, but unfortunately never got a response, nor seems it to be in the
new version. Looks like they don't see that those fora erode their
hold on usenet, instead they play with unnecessary things like email
etc.< sigh>

Try it, you can do lots of this in your personal configuration once your a
member, including forwarding as email (for threads you participate in or a
complete forum, e.g.) etc. pp.
