Hello. Because I could not for one reason or another connect myself to
the pm-win mailing list at the moment, I put my question (also) here.

Is the following a bug or feature in Pegasus Mail v#4.41?:

When connected to multiple IMAP-profiles the periodical update of the
new mail view in the IMAP-inboxes does not work (when the folders are
closed). I do not know if this happens to all of the folders or only
for some of them, but anyway, the information in the folder tree about
new messages in the inbox-folders will not change and the sound for
new mail will not be played although there is new mail in the inboxes
and the time for the periodical update has come. This happens when I
have put the same interval for the update period for all the connected
IMAP-profiles. Of course you can check the new mail folder by opening
it manually but sometimes you do not remember to do it because the
sound has not been played as a reminder. This will only be corrected
with changing the intervals of the periodical updates so that they
differ from eachother, for example for the first folder 120 seconds,
for the second folder 125 seconds and for the third folder 130
seconds.

Why is it so? Has it something to do with the IMAP-protocoll itself or
the IMAP-module in Pmail?
