Hi Sebastian, what do you men when you say that "the global tns name could
not be set. so you have to specify it
at every connect". Could you please explain the way you specify the tnsnames
at every connect?.

you can find the DLLs at www.php4win.de.
then look at te manual at www.php.net...
there are plenty of examples how to connect and stuff...
also you should check http://www.faqts.com/ for more information
the only problem i had with oracle 8.1, nt4.0/sp6a and IIS 4.0
was that the global tns name could not be set. so you have to specify it
at every connect.
