The PL/I for OS/2 Programmers Guide has complete examples
on using PM.

Take a look at my paper on this subject, hosted on Robin's web site (section
2 in http://www.users.bigpond.com/robin_v/pli-n7.htm). The best way to
obtain the "latest" header files is to install FixPak 14. You can also ask
Robin to contact me to obtain the latest copy to host on his web site.
