| I apologize in advance if there's a better forum to ask this question on -- if so, please point me there. I downloaded the new PLT Scheme to check out FrTime and found the documentation doesn't address any of the questions I tend to have about such systems. How are the changes propagated in the system? When do new values become visible? Do changes propagate depth-first or breadth-first? Has this been thought out for FrTime or is it doing something different? Etc.. I haven't looked through the sources yet, but if someone can answer these questions, or point me to where I might find the answers, I'd appreciate it. |

You're likely to get the most comprehensive responses on the PLT Scheme mailing list: http://list.cs.brown.edu/mailman/listinfo/plt-scheme/ > I downloaded the new PLT Scheme to check out FrTime and found the > documentation doesn't address any of the questions I tend to have > about such systems. Some of the papers about FrTime might provide more information: "Embedding Dynamic Dataflow in a Call-by-Value Language": http://www.cs.brown.edu/~sk/Publicat...hed/ck-frtime/ Some other papers are linked from this page: http://www.cs.brown.edu/~sk/Publications/Papers/ Anton |
