Are you looking for advice on doing that (in which case, you probably
want to ask the Postfix folks, rather than on a sendmail newsgroup ;>)?

Why would you ask that? Unless your in here just for some trolling
Everybody has their own favourite MTA, since we all use Sendmail, and not
Postfix, that alone should answer your question.

As long as you are asking in the sense of an intellectual question
rather than trying to start a flame war, I'll chip in a bit.

I know multiple people that have run Postfix and / or QMail over the
years. Both Postfix / QMail have served their needs, and usually (from
what I have been told) simpler than Sendmail can do a basic (read:
single domain) install. However when it comes to doing more advanced
things (more than a few domains, advanced filtering, etc) IMHO Sendmail
tends to shine.

Sendmail is intended to be a work horse to do things crossing mail
boundaries (think SMTP verses UUCP verses faxing verses ...) where as
(to the best of my knowledge) Postfix and / or QMail are meant to work
with in mail boundaries.

I guess I am not good in Sendmail enough to understand this statement.

Not trolling at all. I am not peaching about Postfix here.

Not really. At least not for Postfix.

Postfix is a reasonable replacement for Sendmail in most cases, and is
not significantly harder to deal with for complex filtering or many
domains. I find it hard to come up with a rational argument for
Sendmail over Postfix for new installations these days, although it is
also very hard to justify making a switch to Postfix and in some cases
(e.g. adequately complex custom cf rulesets) a switch would be a lot of
work.
