Suppress Names in "aliases" and "passwd" files for Virtual Domains

This is a discussion on Suppress Names in "aliases" and "passwd" files for Virtual Domains within the SendMail forums in Other Technologies category; This has to be simple, but my brain isn't clicking right now. If I have a local user "jocko" or simply a local alias "jocko", sendmail is accepting E-mail to jocko@<<local-host-names>> (all the names in the local-host-names file). I only want it to accept email sent to <jocko @ jockodomain.com>. What am I missing? Thanks. -- Daniel...

Default Suppress Names in "aliases" and "passwd" files for Virtual Domains

This has to be simple, but my brain isn't clicking right now. If I
have a local user "jocko" or simply a local alias "jocko", sendmail is
accepting E-mail to jocko@<<local-host-names>> (all the names in the
local-host-names file).

I only want it to accept email sent to <jocko@jockodomain.com>.

What am I missing?

Thanks.

I found it. I need to have a catch-all for each virtual domain in my
virtusertable:

@otherdomain.com error:nouser No such address
