Default Prevent Local Delivery

Hello all, I have a quick question which I was unable to solve by
searching around. I recently changed the domain field in my
sendmail.cf file, so that it matches my domain. (Before, it would
appear that my emails were coming from servername.mydomain.com, as
opposed to just mydomain.com.)

Since I've made that change, I've had problems with emails sent by my
server. I sometimes generate status emails to an address like
admin@mydomain.com. I am using an external email provider
(tuffmail). However, the problem is, the system tries to deliver the
email locally, to a user named "admin" on the local server (this user
doesn't exist).

How can I force sendmail to send the email externally, so it checks
the MX records and routes the email accordingly?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Default Re: Prevent Local Delivery

I'm fine just fully shutting down local delivery of email, if that's
possible.

Currently, I have nothing in my mailertable or virtualuserstable. My
access file looks like:

localhost.localdomain RELAY
localhost RELAY
127.0.0.1 RELAY

I tried commenting out Cwlocahost, but that had no effect.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
