I have several stand alone WSS 2.0 servers (mostly due to location and the
initial uptake of sharepoint). We now have the go ahead (and license
requirements) to upgrade to a MOSS 2007 farm. I have installed a new MOSS
2007 farm server on a brand new box with Windows 2003 x64, SQL 2005, etc. I
upgraded one of my WSS 2.0 servers to 3.0. How can I add this server to the
farm? I have been going over and over several 300+ page Microsoft White
Papers pulling my hair out for an obvious answer on how to make my situation
work. I can't be the only person trying to take advantage of the new 2007
portal features and finally having the thumbs up to do so.

Any help on next steps (even if really complicated) would be GREATLY
appreciated.
