MOSS 2007 search relative URLs : Sharepoint
This is a discussion on MOSS 2007 search relative URLs within the Sharepoint forums in Microsoft Tools category; I want to search http://site/svn and everything below. In my content sources I enter http://site/svn/ . In the crawl logs you can see where SharePoint crawls http://site/svn . There is a link under http://site/svn/gi; however in the crawl log you can see where SharePoint tries to crawl http://site/gi instead. Has anyone seen this type of behavior before? * the gi link is a relative url * This server being searched is an appache server running Windows 2003 * I have to use a crawl rule to authenticate against the server * I can login an browse the links without problems....

| I wanted to update this in case any one else runs into a similar issue. This seems to be related using Subversion and following links in the web interface to the source control. Now here is the odd thing, if I configured the content source to start at http://site/svn it failed. But if I created a link at http://site/index.html that pointed to http://site/svn it worked. Crazy?!? Jerry Rasmussen wrote: > I want to search http://site/svn and everything below. In my content > sources I enter http://site/svn/.
