Changing the SQL service account

  1. Default Changing the SQL service account

I will be changing the SQL service account on my Sharepoint servers. Is there
anything that I have to do for Sharepoint for this procedure? Any help will
    be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    CK:

Make sure that the service account that is changed gets updated inside of
Central Admin to handle all of the content access and search access.

I would advise against it because of the far reaching implications that you
may not get all of the areas that the service account touches. Yet if you
have no other recourse then create the new service account first and
methodically go through Central Administration Operations Service Accounts
and Shared Services Provider and change the user accounts. Do this before
    you remove the other account.

I hate to sound slow, but i'm looking at the "Service Accounts" tab i'm not
exactly sure where to go with it from here.

I think your mistaking the SQL service account for the Sharepoint service
    account.

I just need to migrate the SQL service account, will that be problematic at
    all?
