| For our continued development of our Windows application ATLAS.ti (check http://www.atlasti.com for details) we are looking for experienced and creative Smalltalk developers here in our exciting city of Berlin, Germany, for a full-time permanent position (open immediately) to join our team with a profile matching the following requirements: * In-depth Smalltalk experience (>= 3 years experience, preferrably VSE) * Knowledge of Windows technologies (API, COM). * Knowledge of agile software engineering, patterns, refactoring, UML (for visualization and communication), and unit testing is beneficial. * Interest in user interface design, data mining, web services, XML, databases and visualization - at least some of those themes - is also appreciated. * Fluent English and/or German language is mandatory * Good communication skills (besides Smalltalk!-) Our application for qualitative data analysis is used by many thousand users worldwide mainly in research areas coping with unstructured data (social sciences, criminology, etc), but there is also an increasing interest in the corporate fields. Among our customers are not only virtually all academic institutions, but also companies like Microsoft, IBM, Google, Boeing, McKinsey, Harrah's Entertainment and organizations like the World Bank, the WHO, SOS Kinderdorf, the NASA (more at http://www.atlasti.com/references.html).
