QTP 8.2 Record problem

  1. Default QTP 8.2 Record problem

    I just installed QTP 8.2 (SP2) on my Windows XP (SP2) machine.
    When I click on the Record button, it gives me an error saying that
    it cannot perform this operation. Has anyone seen this problem with
    the QTP product? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Also, is there a dedicated Usenet group for QTP or Mercury products?
