Duties: The Testing Engineer is responsible for preparing test data,
executing tests and reporting results to the Implementation and
Development teams. A broad understanding of the application being
tested in the context of the business processes it supports is
critical. Testing professionals will gain broad exposure to cross-
application process flow of Amdocs solutions in a business
environment. Testing teams perform acceptance tests (customer/user
acceptance), system tests (cross-application) and subsystem tests
(single module).
Responsibilities:
Work with client teams to deliver testing solutions.
Deliver timely and quality services, ensuring client satisfaction.
Manage a team of several testing engineers, leading the internal
design review of testing materials; checking the test environment;
executing, tracking and reporting on the test execution; ****yzing the
results and communicating status with the client.
Transfer knowledge, monitor engagement team performance, and provide
feedback on the team.
Monitor and direct others to act in accordance with company
initiatives, processes and methodology.
Requirements:
Unix user expertise
Experience with DB (Oracle, SQL Server); data modeling principles and
associated tools (SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD); test automation and performance
tools (WinRunner, LoadRunner, Precise); configuration control
knowledge (Source Safe principles); S/W architecture for web based and
non-web based applications (Client side, Tuxedo and Server side).
