Nand flash of WinCE 5.0 CETK

This is a discussion on Nand flash of WinCE 5.0 CETK within the Software-Testing forums in Theory and Concepts category; Hi all, Could anyone tell me which item the NAND flash should be tested in WinCE5.0 CETK? "Flash Memory Read/Write and Performance Test" only? I want to test the NAND of "Flash memory read/write and performance test", it always fail in "create file error". Could anyone give me some suggestions? Thank you in advance....

Default Nand flash of WinCE 5.0 CETK

Hi all,

Could anyone tell me which item the NAND flash should be tested in WinCE5.0
CETK? "Flash Memory Read/Write and Performance Test" only?
I want to test the NAND of "Flash memory read/write and performance test",

Hi HPChen,
As i know, the "Flash Memory Read/Write and Performance Test" is not for
NAND flash but for flash memeory. And i think you can write a CETK test case
focus on NAND flash performance.
thanks

Thanks for the reply.
It means that WinCE 5.0 CETK can't test the NAND flash. right?! If I want to
test NAND, I should write a test code by myself?!
Thanks a lot.

What do you think NAND is? It is flash memory, just like NOR flash is flash
memory. The test works on a block device, and it doesn't even need to be
flash. It just exercises the block device in a way that can expose common
problems on flash based implementations.
