bug is nothing but non-functionality to functionality and defect is nothing but if a problem accrues once the application is hanged to the clint so bug life cycle and defect life cycle is not some they are totally different

Are explaining if a bug is found after product is launched Whether it will come under defect life cycle.

Yes it would come under post production support. Depending on the project contract either the support team or the QA team will test it. If the QA team tests it then it will fall under normal bug life cycle.
