CE 5 Install issue
Hi
Am trying to install CE5 from the eval CD on to Windows 2003 SP1.. It give
an error saying I need at least win2k SP4 or XP Sp1!! ANy suggestions? This
is a virgin 2003 install.
We have also tried installing CE 5 on to a windows 2000 server, running Sp4
with the same issue. The only install that had been successful has been on
to Winxp Sp1.
Any help would be much appreciated, there are no KB's I can find on this at
all.

Re: CE 5 Install issue
As far as I know, you have to install on XP or 2K. I don't believe PB will
run on the server OSes.

Re: CE 5 Install issue
Take a look at the CD Sleeve for the system requirements. I think that you
will find the requirements to be Windows 2000 or Windows XP SP1. Neither of
which is Windows 2003.
If I recall correctly, there was a discussion some time ago with information
that may lead to a successful install on Server. Do a search on
GoogleGroups.
