Hi, I am about to start writing device drivers on S60 SDK. Couple of things= that i wanted to know. 1. Is it mandatory that i have BAK (binary access kit which you get if you = are a platinum partner) or can it be done on a normal downloaded s60 sdk ? 2. Can someone send an example of device driver code so that i can compile = and see the exact flow. Thanks in advance

You can find lots of information on device drivers (including an example dr= iver) in the OS library here... » Symbian OS v9.x » Device Driver Guide » Writing a new device driver That should be enough information to get started.

As far as I know, you will need a Symbian DevKit license to develop drivers= (someone else will correct me if I am wrong). See the following for detail= ed information... [http://www.symbian.com/files/rx/file6378.pdf ][http://www.symbian.com/developer/tec.../faqsdk/faq_1= 187.html]
