No version of PsiWin works for me in Win2k.
RCOM, however, does work.
Pauli,
If you've tried the Open Candidate release with no success,
perhaps you should let Psion know what the problems are,
so they can be investigated.

"A connection could not be formed between your PC and Psion"... :-)
EConnect Lite does connect successfully, although it fails to do much else.
That seems particularly strange to me, because I understand they share the
same code base?
(I did remove EConnect Lite before I installed PsiWin.)
Luckily it's not that important for me, right now I just have to move files
around and RCOM is good enough for that.
Pauli,
EPOC Connect Lite and the Open Candidate don't share the same codebase -=20
ECLite is build from EC5 (PsiWin 2.3) components, the Open Candidate is
EC5.01 (PsiWin 2.3.2). (That's why I say that EC Lite isn't for Win 2K.)

It has to be said that Psion are useless at this and getting worse. I don't=
say that lightly, as I am a psion fan.
The curt reply I got was that this is an open candidate release and not sup=
ported.
It seems that the customer interface is at odds with the apparent helpful m=
ood of the people in the company.
In addition I have also noted to them that the downloads page has had lots =
of items marked as 'new' for months now - clearly no longer the case - and =
they just told=20
me to raise a call. Utter crap service.
...don't get me started on document conversion.....
Baz
I had the problem with Win2k and Psiwin and downloaded the patch from their
site and it works fine now .
