I would like to programmatically configure VPN connection on Symbian s60 th=

Some S60 devices have a Nokia mobile VPN client, some don't (on those it ha=
s to be installed separately).

For S60 3rd Ed. FP1 devices Nokia has also released a new VPN client and a =
Windows based tool to create configuration files/policies for it. For earli=
er versions, it isn't that easy, as you can read up here (a thread with alm=

As far as I know, there are no published APIs to do the configurations for =
any version on the device with your own app.

I have not seen any published documentation that would indicate that it is =
possible to do programmatically.

You may ask Nokia via the S60 API partnering program/process:
