VPN Policy installation error:

In my last query, i enquired and found about doing VPN configuration is not=
possible unless if we are not partners as all those API's and resources fo=
r this purpose available only to partners.

I am now facing a problem with installing VPN policy files on the device. I=
would appreciate if someone correct my problems by reading it in down.

1. Downloaded Nokia VPN client software 'MVPN_S60_v3_1_080407.sisx' and ins=
talled it on the device.
2. Then I installed Nokia Mobile VPN client policy desktop tool and created=
some sample settings by providing 'Policy name', 'VPN gateway address', IK=
E mode and Authentication method and Generated a policy file (.vpn).
3. Then Copied policy file on the device(FileManager-Documents).
4. Opened this file on the device. It extracted .pin and .pol and a .der fi=
le.
5. Selected these three files on the device to make it installed. It showed=
as extracting when selected these files.
6. Then went into Settings-Config-connection-VPN-VPN management-VPN Policie=
s
7. It says "No VPN Polcies installed, installed now."

I don't understand that i have installed VPN policies by extracting on the =
STEP 5 mentioned above, but why does it says 'not installed'. I don't know =
what's the problem with this. I am following all the documents and link sai=
d by Symbian properly. I have Client_User_Guide, Policy_Tools_User_Guide et=
c.

My Symbian device is Series 60, thrid edition, versions details are below.
3.0633.09.10
02-02-07
RM-88

VPN Policy User Guide document says, device should have software version "2=
00-or-greater number". For example, the software version might be "200.34.7=
x", otherwise VPN policy/configuration doesn't suport.=20
But my device software version shows as "3.0633.09.10". Is this the problem=
? Is my device not compatible?=20

Can anyone share with me your ideas to get cleared about this issue?
