I want to test Bluetooth code on my Carbide emulator.=20 Unfortunately (for more than one reason), I have Windows Vista... I found the following link for a BT driver that I am supposed to use for th= e emulator:=20 http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n...801f-1f95-4c8= 3-87bc-cb83d4a21bef/S60_SDK_BT_Driver.zip.html But it says it will only work for Windows XP.=20 Are there any BT drivers available for Vista? And why can´t I use the normal driver that I have already installed? = (I use a Belkin BT dongle with the corresponding software driver).=20

Since its an S60 driver and SDK, surely a question for Forum Nokia? The driver may well work for Vista, it depends on whether any of the interf= aces changed - worth trying?.=20 >And why can´t I use the normal driver that I have already install= ed?=20 FN won't let me download this so I can't confirm, but I suspect the driver = in question is an *Emulator* driver not a generic windows driver. So this w= ill use your "normal drivers" under the hood. Regards Hamis

Vista doesn't allow installation of unsigned drivers. The problem is the USB device driver for the emulator isn't signed. You can try to start vista in "test mode" which allows you to use unsigned = drivers. (search the windows DDK documentation) For USB bluetooth, the emulator needs a windows kernel mode device driver a= long with the user mode driver inside the emulator process.
