Weblogic 8.1 Enterprise - Cluster errors

  1. Default Weblogic 8.1 Enterprise - Cluster errors

    Hope someone out there can help. We have 3 physical servers with 3 managed =
    servers per machine. We have 3 cluster managers running for a total of 12 s=
    ervers across 3 machines. Our cluster is load balanced and failover configu=
    red. Friday we had all 3 servers on one machine start throwing internal clu=
    ster communication errors. Today it was across 3 servers and one cluster.=
    =20

    Errors are similar to "stale object restarting svr3c3".

    Is this normal? Anyone else out there seen anything similar?

    Thanks. Puzzled in Jax.

    What is the cluster manager or are you referring to the Admin Server. Are a=
    ll the 3 clusters in the same domain. Also can you post the complete error =
    message.

    Yes I meant the Admin server.

    Here's one of them:

    ####<Feb 5, 2008 9:44:53 AM EST> <Info> <Cluster> <jeawbl1p1> <CCBSvr1c1> <=
    ExecuteThread: '2' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Non-Blocking'> <<WLS Kernel>=
    > <> <BEA-000118> <Lost 0 replication updates of object -599815231115718691=

    3.>=20

    Here's another (log is full of them):

    ####<Feb 5, 2008 12:03:55 PM EST> <Critical> <WebLogicServer> <jeawbl1p1> <=
    CCBSvr1c2> <ListenThread.Default> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-000204> <Failed to=
    listen on port 7512, failure count: 5, failing for 10 seconds, java.net.So=
    cketException: Too many open files>=20

    Thanks for taking the time with me.
