Webservice Invoke failing because of CDATA in Request XML

This is a discussion on Webservice Invoke failing because of CDATA in Request XML within the Websphere forums in Application Servers & Tools category; " must not appear in content unless used to mark the end of a CDATA section. but if I remove the CDATA section from Request XML it works absolutely fine. Can you please let me know how can I handle CDATA section in my Request XML ? Any help is highly appreciated....

Contact IBM support for this as there is a fix for it. I found this problem at a customer at the beginning of 2007 and they created a fix for this. We were on v6.0.2 at the time so it should be readily available.

Yes this issue has been fixed with IBM fix pack for WID 6.0.2.2

Here are the details of the fixes required:

JR26291: 6.0.2.1: Performance degradation when using large business objects (6.0.2.1-WS-WBI-IFJR26291.pak)
JR26916: CDATA elements cannot be used (6.0.2.1-WS-WBI-IFJR26916.pak)

JR26291 is a pre-requisite for JR26916. And this fix goes with WPS 6.0.2.1 server version.
