ROD after GH2 update!!!

This is a discussion on ROD after GH2 update!!! within the xbox forums in Other Technologies category; After I updated Guitar Hero 2 last night the much dreaded ring of death came up. Didn't have any problems prior to the update. Works sometimes without the error. My plan is to call M$. Did anyone else have this problem?...

Default ROD after GH2 update!!!

After I updated Guitar Hero 2 last night the much dreaded ring of death
came up. Didn't have any problems prior to the update. Works sometimes
without the error. My plan is to call M$. Did anyone else have this
problem?

Doubtful, it was probably just the timing of it that threw you off. A
RROD can hit anytime, and I'm sure people are doing a number of
different things when it happens. It would be highly unlikely (if not
impossible) that it could happen from a software download or update.

yeh but the downside is you can be without your xbox for two months
