I thought I would give notice here as quite a few xharbour fans and
developers are using the news node. On December 13 2007 the homelinux news
node will be going down for several weeks, and is scheduled to be back
online January 7 2008.

Many thanks for the notice. An alternate free open server I'm using is:
news://news.aioe.org/comp.lang.xharbour
It appears to work very well and my messages appear to be posted withOUT any
delay. :-)

news://news.aioe.cjb.net/comp.lang.xharbour
is working like a charm. Is it the same news server? How ever!
